easter sunday

Hi there. It's easter Sunday. We woke up to a little bit of snow, but thankfully it had melted by dinner time so that we could do our easter egg hunt outside. Our easter bunny came on saturday, but we get to do an easter egg hunt on sunday with Carter's cousin's that live here. We talked about the true easter story on friday and we have a little hand made tomb, and a samll picture of christ that we set out. It was really cute, carter asked us this morning if we could hurry out and look at the tomb and see if Jesus had left it. This week we also went out to a place called dinosaur ridge and hiked it. It was a lot of fun, and carter did really well. On the way down carter was racing Kevin down a steep hill and he feel and scraped his knees. He cried and said he never wanted to do that again. Later that night he said his prayers and said thank you for dinosaur ridge, but that we wasn't thankful for hurting his knee. This week I also completed my first class at the college.
