our vacation to washington

Hi there. Carter and I just got home from visiting my brother, his wife, their new little girl,a nd my mom inWashington. We have some fun new pictures to share with you. We got to meet our new cousingf, and niece, Emilia. She is very cute and she loved Carter. Whenever he was in the room she would watch him and smile and laugh at him the whole time.Carter thought this was great to have someone adore everything he did. My brother and his wife, Kirsten, live in one of the most beautiful places. Well, at least I think that they do. They live in Bellingham, WA and they are lucky enough to live right on part of the puget sound. It literally is there backyard. This was paradise for me and Carter. He loved going out to the beach with my brothers dog, Sadie, and throwing rocks, picking up sea shells and crab shells and walking in the mud when the tide was out. After watching carter with Sadie I can tell that someday we might really need to get him a dog. He even got pinched by a baby crab. Carter got to learn about different birds such as Yellow Finches and Bald eagles. We also got to go on some fun hikes one lead us to a park with a petting zoo, and the other we got to go up high on a mountain and look down into the bay. (Incredible) We got to take a ferry to the Lummi island and have breakfast, and Carter was the first one of all of us to spy a seal bobbing his head up from the water. Carter thought it was great that we could have a fire right on the beach and roast marshmallows. We had a ton of fun and got really lucky that the weather was great. When you look at the pictures all of the ones with water are in my brothers backyard except for the two where we are up in the mountains and the bay is way behind us. Hope all is well with everyone.
